Algonquin Preschool was established in 1988 as a non-profit preschool facility located in the educational area of the Congregational Church of Algonquin.

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services licenses Algonquin Preschool.

Algonquin Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

Over 95% of enrollment is a result of referrals.
